Hi, I’m Viv. I’m an interiors, lifestyle and food photographer, and I tell stories.
These stories are framed through the lens of a camera, through how I see the world around me. Stories of people that spend months carving a single detail into a piece of furniture, of chefs that begin plating food in their mind long before any ingredients touch the pan, or of designers seeking out new ways to show themselves through their work.
These stories capture a small part of the lives of people from all over the world, be it London or Australia, Bali or Hong Kong. No matter where the story originates, the photographs that emerge are bound by one all-consuming facet; they are the output of people who hold creativity dear to their hearts. Here are some of the inspiring people I’ve had the privilege to work with: homeware designer Donna Wilson, jewellery designer Pippa Small, furniture designer Rhonda Drakeford and artist Rachel Castle to name a few.
What they say:
“Thank you, was such a pleasure to have you photograph my home! You are absolutely so talented, I love all the photos!” - Interior designer Anna Begg, New Zealand
“Wow such brilliant photographs! I love them. You did a great job, thanks so much!”
- Homeware designer Donna Wilson, London
Are you a small business, influencer, interior designer, restaurateur, chef, hotelier, artist or all-round-creative with a story to be told in a beautiful way? You’ve worked your socks off and poured your blood, sweat and tears into your brand, and now is the time to show it off.
By capturing the essence of your brand and turning it into high-quality, authentic content, you can now fully engage with your audience and potential customers on social media and beyond.
Having come from a background in art directing in London, I’ve been working with brands creating award-winning content for over a decade. To me, an idea always comes first, before any buttons or technology. Combined that with my photography skills and social media know-how, I can create a range of engaging content for your business and grow your social media following.
Whether you’re an artisanal maker looking for a collaboration, an independent business hoping to create images for your lookbook or a big brand after some authentic content, send me a message here - I’d love to work together!
When I moved to London for university I rented 8 different flats in the first 8 years.
By the time I had my own space to work with (a converted flat in an old dairy mews in London), I covered every wall in shades of Farrow & Ball and renovated the kitchen (with a baby of 6 months growing inside me!).
Two years later I moved to the countryside in Bristol. This time it was a 1950’s bungalow with matching design aesthetic, which called for a full refurb, adding 3 rooms and a bathroom to the loft space and re-arranging the ground floor entirely (this time living on site through all the work, whilst pregnant with a second child...)
I’m now onto my third project, renovating my Victorian terrace in the heart of Bristol. If you’re a brand in the home renovation / design space and would like to collaborate on this project please contact me here.
In early 2018, just as the world was taking it up a gear in the chaos compartment, my husband Ben and I, together with our two young children, embarked on the trip of a lifetime. We travelled for 8 months altogether, visiting Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan, eventually getting featured in the brilliant independent magazine Lionheart, here. It was an amazing adventure and we collaborated with lots of wonderful brands and hotels along the way, which we’ve documented on our travel blog www.thesejourneys.com.
Hotels we’ve collaborated with:
Australia | Zara Tower, Sydney
New Zealand | Fossickers Hut, Marlborough || Abel Tasman Lodge, Abel Tasman || Okuti garden, Little River
Bali | Ananda House, Ubud || Hotel Tugu Bali, Canggu || Kemah Tinggi, Canggu
Thailand | Sukantara Cascade Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai
For 2019, we’re planning more trips, including Europe, Hong Kong (again!) and Southeast Asia. If you would like to collaborate with us please send us a message here.
